1. Information We Collect
Bazenation is designed to minimize data collection. When you use the download tool, we process the URL you submit to fetch media metadata. We do not require account registration.
- URLs submitted: Processed temporarily to generate download links. Not stored permanently after your session ends.
- Technical logs: Server logs may include timestamps, error codes, and anonymized request metadata for debugging and rate limiting.
- Analytics: We may use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site usage. You can opt out via browser extensions or Google's opt-out tools.
- Cookies: Third-party ad providers (e.g. Google AdSense) may set cookies. See their respective privacy policies for details.
2. What We Do Not Collect
We do not store IP addresses in download logs, do not sell personal data, and do not require email addresses or social logins to use the downloader.
3. How We Use Information
Data is used solely to:
- Process your download request and deliver the file.
- Prevent abuse through rate limiting.
- Improve site performance and fix errors.
4. Data Retention
Download metadata is cached in Redis for a short period (typically 5 minutes, up to 30 minutes for some platforms) to improve performance. Cached entries expire automatically.
5. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services including hosting providers, Redis caching, Google Analytics, and advertising networks. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
