Few hours after the end of the 12th edition of Headies Awards, organizers of the show have been accused of rigging the award for the category of ‘Best Performer’.
This came after Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced Yemi Alade as Best Performer of the Year, while Tiwa Savage’s name appeared on the screen. Though Yemi Alade got the award, the Organizers of the show suffered severe backlash, as Nigerians on social media questioned the mistake which they described as rigged.
